Info: Works to be performed are chosen by composer members of L.I.C.A. In addition to the performance, there will be prizes for outstanding compositions. A $50 CASH AWARD will be presented to the student composers in three age categories. These categories will be (1) a composer 11 or under, (2) a composer between 12 and 14, and (3) a composer above 15. The works will be judged by the L.I.C.A. Program Committee and the most outstanding AWARD WINNERS WILL ALSO PERFORM THEIR WORKS AT THE LONG ISLAND COMPOSERS ALLIANCE PROFESSIONAL ANNIVERSARY CONCERT ON JUNE 5, 2016.

Concert: A program featuring the music of Long Island Composers

Info: Internationally renowned pianist Paolo Bartolani and master oboist Terry Keevil will perform the works of LICA composers. The concert will also feature the three gifted young composers who have been Awarded the Arline Diamond Memorial Award for their performances at the annual “Music By and For Students Concert” in May.
